Character Skill Tinkering

Tinkering is one of the Skill that any Characters can raise.

It's the art of Crafting/Working wood and metal! Enhance metal items with colored ingots and Repairing tinker items (Glasses)! It's very useful to create his proper Tools, Magic Jewels, Weapons and all Decoration for your House!

Tinkering work with Ingot, Board, Gem and Item Part!

In order to use Tinkering, you need to use the tool: Tinker's Tools and some Ingots or Boards.

When you have the required items, Double Left Click on a Tinkering Tool and the Tinkering Gump Menu will open.

Tinkering Tips

There's NO Bulk Order Deed in Tinkering!

There's NO Power Scroll 105, 110, 115 and 120 to raise your Tinkering!

There's NO Runic Tinker's Tools that can add additional Mods on your Crafted Jewels.

There's Talisman with Tinkering Exceptional Bonus and Tinkering Bonus at maximum 30% to help raise your chance of success.

There's 3 kind of Recipes to Craft Jewels Craftable Artifact.

There's 1 kind of Craftable Creature the Golems.


Crafting

In order to Craft any Tinker Items!
- You need one of the Tinkering Tool in your Character Backpack: Tinker's Tools.

- You need some Resource Material: Ingots or Boards.

When you have all the requirement, Double Left Click on the Tinkering Tool and the Tinkering Gump Menu will open!

In the Tinkering Gump Menu, you can find Categories, Materials..

By clicking on the Button on the Right of any Tinkering Item, you can see the Detail of that Item:
- Success Chance: ##.#%
- Exceptional Chance: ##.#%
- Skills - Tinkering (Minimum Required Skill) ##.#
- Materials - Ingots or Boards # (Item Parts)
- Others - (There's many message available) This item may hold its maker's mark, This item retains the color of this material, You have not learned this recipe.


Using a Talisman of Tinkering Exceptional Bonus and/or Tinkering Bonus can raise your chance to craft an items.


Resources

There's 8 kind of Gems you can use to craft special items with Recipe! 6 of those Gems can be find with the Skill Mining, 1 Gems with the Skill Fishing and 1 Gems with the Skill Lumberjacking.
- Blue Diamond = Mining
- Brilliant Amber = Lumberjacking
- Dark Sapphire = Mining
- Ecru Citrine = Mining
- Fire Ruby = Mining
- Perfect Emerald = Mining
- Turquoise = Mining
- White Pearl = Fishing


Enhancing

It's useful to add certain Bonus on your Weapon! Depending on the Colored Ingot Type, you will get different Bonus.
In order to Enhance Item:
- You need to have the tool Tinkering Tool in your Character Backpack.

- You need some Colored Ingots.

When you have all the requirement, Double Left Click on the Tinkering Tool and the Tinkering Gump Menu will open!

In the Tinkering Gump Menu, you can find the Material Type Button in the Left Bottom Corner, Single Left Click on it and you will be able to Select your Material Type you wanna Enhance. When you select your Material Type, you can find the Enhance Item Button in the Right Bottom Corner (Third Button, under Repair Item). Single Left Click on it and Target an Item to Enhance with your Selected Material Type!


Base Chance = 20% for Weapon
If Tinkering is Greater then or equal 100
Base Chance -= (Tinkering - 90) / 10

When Enhancing, there's a roll on each Mods that will be modified, if you miss in anyone of those Mods, your Item will either Fail or Break. Fail mean you just have miss your chance. Break mean your item is destroy, is gone!

Mods that can be Enhance:
- Physical Resist | BaseChance = BaseChance + Physical Resist of Original Item
- Fire Resist | BaseChance = BaseChance + Fire Resist of Original Item
- Cold Resist | BaseChance = BaseChance + Cold Resist of Original Item
- Poison Resist | BaseChance = BaseChance + Poison Resist of Original Item
- Energy Resist | BaseChance = BaseChance + Energy Resist of Original Item
- Durability | BaseChance = BaseChance + (Durability of Original Item / 40)
- Luck | BaseChance = BaseChance + 10 + (Luck of Original Item / 2)
- Lower Requirement | BaseChance = BaseChance + (Lower Requirement of Original Item / 4)
- Damage Increase | BaseChance = BaseChance + (Damage Increase of Original Item / 4)


Repairing

It's useful to repair your Crafted Item, Looted Item or Artifact to raise back your Durability to the maximum it can hold!

In order to Repair Item:
- You need to have the tool Tinkering Tool in your Character Backpack.

- You need the item you wanna Repair in your Character Backpack.

When you have all the requirement, Double Left Click on the Tinkering Tool and the Tinkering Gump Menu will open!

In the Tinkering Gump Menu, you can find Repair Item Button in the Right Bottom Corner, Single Left Click on it and a Target Cursor will appear. If you target your item you wanna Repair in your Backpack, it will try to Repair it!

MinSkill = RepairDifficulty - 25
MaxSkill = RepairDifficulty + 25
If Tinkering < MinSkill
Too Difficult (You cannot Repair your Item)
If Tinkering >= MaxSkill
No Challenge (100% Chance to Repair!)

Chance = (Tinkering - MinSkill) / (MaxSkill - MinSkill)


If when you have your Target Repair Cursor and you Target a Blank Scroll, it will create a Repair Deed Contract from your Character with the Tinkering Level you are at!

Tinkering Repair Deed Contract can only be use in NPC Tinker Shop!


Magic Jewelry

Tinkering can craft Magic Jewels, Ring or Bracelet that have unique Mods on them!

Brilliant Amber Bracelet

Need: 5 Ingots + 20 Amber + 10 Brilliant Amber
Have: 1 to 4 Random Mods between 0 to 100% intensity and always one Mods randomly between:
(Lower Reagent Cost +10, Faster Casting +1, Faster Cast Recovery +2, Spell Damage Increase +5)

Fire Ruby Bracelet

Need: 5 Ingots + 20 Rubies + 10 Fire Rubies
Have: 1 to 4 Random Mods between 0 to 100% intensity and always one Mods randomly between:
(If(Random(100) < 10) Then Hit Point Regeneration +2 Else Fire Resist +10)

Dark Sapphire Bracelet

Need: 5 Ingots + 20 Sapphires + 10 Dark Sapphires
Have: 1 to 4 Random Mods between 0 to 100% intensity and always one Mods randomly between:
(If(Random(100) < 10) Then Mana Regeneration +2 Else Cold Resist +10)

White Pearl Bracelet

Need: 5 Ingots + 20 Tourmalines + 10 White Pearls
Have: 3 to 5 Random Mods between 0 to 100% intensity and always 50% Chance Mods randomly between:
(If(Random(100) < 50) Then Faster Casting +1, Faster Cast Recovery +2, Lower Reagent Cost +10)

Ecru Citrine Ring

Need: 5 Ingots + 20 Citrine + 10 Ecru Citrine
Have: 2 to 3 Random Mods between 0 to 100% intensity and always one Mods randomly between:
(If(RandomBool) Then Enhance Potion = 50 Else Strenght +5)

Blue Diamond Ring

Need: 5 Ingots + 20 Diamonds + 10 Blue Diamonds
Have: 2 to 4 Random Mods between 0 to 100% intensity and always one Mods randomly between:
(Lower Reagent Cost +10, Faster Casting +1, Faster Cast Recovery +2, Spell Damage Increase +5)

Perfect Emerald Ring

Need: 5 Ingots + 20 Emeralds + 10 Perfect Emeralds
Have: 2 to 4 Random Mods between 0 to 100% intensity and always one Mods randomly between:
(If(RandomBool) Then Poison Resist +10 Else Spell Damage Increase +5)

Turquoise Ring

Need: 5 Ingots + 20 Amethysts + 10 Turquoise
Have: 1 to 3 Random Mods between 0 to 100% intensity and always one Mods randomly between:
(If(Random(100) < 10) Then Swing Speed Increase +5 Else Damage Increase +15)

0 - 40 = Train your Tinkering Skill at New Haven with the NPC Instruction Amelia Youngstone! (400 Golds)
40 - 45 = Tongs (1 Ingot)
45 - 95 = Lockpick (1 Ingot)
95 - 100 = Heating Stand (4 Ingots)
