Character Skill Blacksmithy

Blacksmithy is one of the Skill that any Characters can raise.

It's the art of Crafting metal! Smelting ores and metal items! Enhance metal items with colored ingot and Repairing metals items! It's very useful to create his proper Weapons and Armors!

Blacksmithy work with the Skill Mining in order to get your Resources Materials the Ore and Smelt Ores into Ingots! There's 9 kinds of Ingots!

In order to use Blacksmithy, you need to be near a Forge and Anvil, use the tool: Smith's Hammer or Tongs or Sledgehammer and some Ingots.

When you are next to Forge and Anvil and you have the required items, Double Left Click on a Blacksmith Tool and the Blacksmithing Gump Menu will open.

NPC Blacksmither can give job to Player that have at least 0.1 in Blacksmithy. That job is represented by an item named Blacksmith Bulk Order Deed (blue scroll). Blacksmith BODs are given depending on the Skill Blacksmithy, between 0.1 and 50.0 you can receive a BOD each 1 hour, between 50.1 and 70 every 2 hours and between 70.1 and 120 every 6 hours. The higher your Skill Blacksmithy the more chance you have to receive a colored BOD. Blacksmith BOD can have any Ore Color and can be either in Small or Large type.

There's Bulk Order Deed in Blacksmithy that can give Blacksmith Reward!

There's Power Scroll 105, 110, 115 and 120 to raise your Blacksmithy!

There's 8 kind of Runic Hammer Tools that can add additional Mods on your Crafted Armor, Shield or Weapon.

There's 4 kind of Ancient Smithy Hammer that can help raise your chance of success.

There's Talisman with Blacksmithy Exceptional Bonus and Blacksmithy Bonus at maximum 30% to help raise your chance of success.

There's 9 kind of Ingots that can give a Default Bonus on your Crafted Armor, Shield or Weapon.

There's 37 kind of Recipes to Craft Special Weapon that can give a Default Mod Bonus on your Crafted Weapon.

There's 5 kind of Craftable Artifact Weapon.


Crafting

In order to Craft any Armor, Shield or Weapon!
- You have to be near an Anvil and a Forge.

- You need the one of the Blacksmith Tool in your Character Backpack: Smith's Hammer or Tongs or Sledgehammer.

- You need some Resource Material: Ingots.

When you have all the requirement, Double Left Click on the Blacksmith Tool and the Blacksmithing Gump Menu will open!

In the Blacksmithing Gump Menu, you can find Categories, Materials..

By click on the Button on the Right of any Blacksmith Item, you can see the Detail of that Item:
- Required Skill
- Chance of Success
- Resource Needed


Using a Talisman of Blacksmithy Exceptional Bonus and/or Blacksmithy Bonus can raise your chance to craft an items.
Using a Ancient Smithy Hammer can raise your chance to craft an items. (Need to have the Hammer Equip in your Hand!)
Talisman and Ancient Smithy Hammer work together!

When you use a Runic Hammer, you can have in your Hand any Ancient Smithy Hammer and in your Backpack the Runic Hammer, if you Double Left Click on the Runic Hammer the Blacksmith Gump Menu will be open and when you gonna Craft an Item, the item will receive the Runic Hammer Bonus as well as the Chance of Success by the Ancient Smithy Hammer in your Hand. Both Hammer will lose a Charge!



Resources

There's 9 kind of Ingots you can find with the Skill Mining. Iron Ingot can be purchase at any NPC Blacksmither or Tinker at 5 Golds each.
- Iron = 0 Blacksmithy
- Dull Copper = 65 Blacksmithy
- Shadow = 70 Blacksmithy
- Copper = 75 Blacksmithy
- Bronze = 80 Blacksmithy
- Golden = 85 Blacksmithy
- Agapite = 90 Blacksmithy
- Verite = 95 Blacksmithy
- Valorite = 100 Blacksmithy

There's 8 kind of Gems you can use to craft special items with Recipe! 6 of those Gems can be find with the Skill Mining, 1 Gems with the Skill Fishing and 1 Gems with the Skill Lumberjacking.
- Blue Diamond = Mining
- Brilliant Amber = Lumberjacking
- Dark Sapphire = Mining
- Ecru Citrine = Mining
- Fire Ruby = Mining
- Perfect Emerald = Mining
- Turquoise = Mining
- White Pearl = Fishing


Smelting

It's useful to recycle your Crafted Item or even those you Loot from Monsters!

In order to Smelt Item:
- You have to be near an Anvil and a Forge.

- You need the one of the Blacksmith Tool in your Character Backpack: Smith's Hammer or Tongs or Sledgehammer.

When you have all the requirement, Double Left Click on the Blacksmith Tool and the Blacksmithing Gump Menu will open!

In the Blacksmithing Gump Menu, you can find Smelt Button in the Left Bottom Corner, Single Left Click on it and a Target Cursor will appear. If you target any Metal Item in your Backpack, it will Smelt and you gonna receive several Material Ingot.

Ore can be Smelt into Ingot by the Skill Mining. It require to be near a Forge and Double Left Click on the Ore and Target the Forge!


Enhancing

It's useful to add certain Bonus on your Armor, Shield or Weapon! Depending on the Colored Ingot Type, you will get different Bonus.

In order to Enhance Item:
- You have to be near a Anvil and a Forge.

- You need the one of the Blacksmith Tool in your Character Backpack: Smith's Hammer or Tongs or Sledgehammer.

- You need some Colored Ingots.

When you have all the requirement, Double Left Click on the Blacksmith Tool and the Blacksmithing Gump Menu will open!

In the Blacksmithing Gump Menu, you can find the Material Type Button in the Left Bottom Corner (Second Button, under Smelt Item), Single Left Click on it and you will be able to Select your Material Type you wanna Enhance. When you select your Material Type, you can find the Enhance Item Button in the Right Bottom Corner (Third Button, under Repair Item). Single Left Click on it and Target an Item to Enhance with your Selected Material Type!


Base Chance = 20% for Armor, Shield and Weapon
If Blacksmithy is Greater then 100
Base Chance -= (Blacksmithy - 90) / 10

When Enhancing, there's a roll on each Mods that will be modified, if you miss in anyone of those Mods, your Item will either Fail or Break. Fail mean you just have miss your chance. Break mean your item is destroy, is gone!

Mods that can be Enhance:
- Physical Resist | BaseChance = BaseChance + Physical Resist of Original Item
- Fire Resist | BaseChance = BaseChance + Fire Resist of Original Item
- Cold Resist | BaseChance = BaseChance + Cold Resist of Original Item
- Poison Resist | BaseChance = BaseChance + Poison Resist of Original Item
- Energy Resist | BaseChance = BaseChance + Energy Resist of Original Item
- Durability | BaseChance = BaseChance + (Durability of Original Item / 40)
- Luck | BaseChance = BaseChance + 10 + (Luck of Original Item / 2)
- Lower Requirement | BaseChance = BaseChance + (Lower Requirement of Original Item / 4)
- Damage Increase | BaseChance = BaseChance + (Damage Increase of Original Item / 4)


Repairing

It's useful to repair your Crafted Item, Looted Item or Artifact to raise back your Durability to the maximum it can hold!

In order to Repair Item:
- You have to be near an Anvil and a Forge.

- You need the one of the Blacksmith Tool in your Character Backpack: Smith's Hammer or Tongs or Sledgehammer.

- You need the item you wanna Repair in your Character Backpack.

When you have all the requirement, Double Left Click on the Blacksmith Tool and the Blacksmithing Gump Menu will open!

In the Blacksmithing Gump Menu, you can find Repair Item Button in the Right Bottom Corner, Single Left Click on it and a Target Cursor will appear. If you target your item you wanna Repair in your Backpack, it will try to Repair it!

Too Difficult (You cannot Repair your Item)

No Challenge (100% Chance to Repair!)

Chance = (Blacksmithy - MinSkill) / (MaxSkill - MinSkill)


If when you have your Target Repair Cursor and you Target a Blank Scroll, it will create a Repair Deed Contract from your Character with the Blacksmithy Level you are at!

Blacksmith Repair Deed Contract can only be use in NPC Blacksmith Shop!


Runic Hammers

There's 8 Runic Hammer for Blacksmithy that can be receive as a Reward from Blacksmith Bulk Order Deed!

When Crafting an Item with Runic Hammer, you can add additional Mods on them.

- Hit Lightning or Hit Fireball or Hit Magic Arrow or Hit Harm to 50%
- Hit Physical Area or Hit Fire Area or Hit Cold Area or Hit Poison Area or Hit Energy Area to 50%
- Hit Lower Attack to 50%
- Hit Lower Defense to 50%
