Character House
In Ultima Online, there's an unique house system that no other MMORPG have! Any Players have the ability to possess it's own House! It's good for a having Safe Spot, Storages, Decorations, Vendors, Rental Vendors!Every Account can possess 1 House! So in UODemise, we can have 4 Account per IP, so 4 Houses!
How to obtain a House
There's 2 way to obtain a House:- Place by Yourself
or
- Purchase from other Players
Placing a House
In order to place your own House, you need to purchase the item: a House Placement Tool, from the NPC Architect. It cost 627 golds.When you have a House Placement Tool into your Character Backpack, it's time to check around the world of Ultima Online for an empty open spot!
There's several condition in order to place a house!
Cannot place a House:
- If already own 1
- In Ilshenar or T2A
- In Malas cannot build Castle or Keep
- In Dungeons, Towns, Treasure Map Areas or Guard Zone
- Over a Road
- Over a Tree
RULES:
1) All tiles which are around the -outside- of the foundation must not have anything impassable.
2) No impassable object or land tile may come in direct contact with any part of the house.
3) Five tiles from the front and back of the house must be completely clear of all house tiles.
4) The foundation must rest flatly on a surface. Any bumps around the foundation are not allowed.
5) No foundation tile may reside over terrain which is viewed as a road.
When you have find an empty open spot, Double Left Click on the House Placement Tool and you have 3 categories:
- Classic Houses
- Two Story Foundations
- Three Story Foundations
Buying a House
It's possible in Ultima Online to be a Real Estate Agent to sell it's own house to other Players! Of course, purchasing a house from other Players will cost a lot more then placing by yourself! However, Castle and Keep are the 2 largest house available and are very hard to place! It's sometime better to purchase to other Players!Classic Houses
